class, students will work on group numbers from Broadway shows,
learning lyrics, music, choreography, and how to use acting skills to tell
the story behind a song. Students should wear clothes and shoes that are
easy to move in.

Description: Explore a number of approaches to developing an
interesting, believable character for the stage. This class incorporates
aspects of improv, voice, movement, creative writing, research and
analysis to help the actor create and maintain a compelling character.
Some outside homework will be required! This class is helpful for the
actor interested in creating specific characters for plays and for
maintaining a character for extended theater runs or for a television
series.

script-less form of acting allows actors to use their imaginations and
teamwork skills as they play through the situations their characters find
themselves in! Also great for building voice and movement skills, and
